Next-Generation Equine Health & Performance Monitoring
Helios Equine Performance and Rehabilitation Center (Helios), in partnership with Advanced Telesensors (cardio.io), is developing a next-generation equine monitoring platform designed to transform how horse health, performance, and recovery are tracked.
This collaboration combines Helios’ real-world equine expertise and elite rehabilitation environment with Advanced Telesensors’ proven biosensor and cardiovascular monitoring technology to create a non-wearable equine monitor purpose-built for performance horses, rehabilitation patients, and long-term health management.
The result is continuous, data-driven insight into equine physiology—delivered in a way that has never before been commercially available at scale.
Contactless, stall-safe monitoring while a horse rests.
Designed for rehab patients, performance programs, and long-term management.
Trends, thresholds, and alerts for earlier decisions.
A non-wearable equine monitoring system providing continuous, real-time data on key physiological and performance indicators.
• Heart rate & HRV (HR / HRV)
• Cardiac rhythm monitoring
• Respiration metrics
• Recovery & fatigue indicators
• Activity/movement correlation
• Rehab progress tracking
• Real-time alerts for abnormal readings
• Cloud-based data storage
• Analytics dashboards for veterinarians, trainers, and owners
• Longitudinal health and performance tracking
The underlying sensor platform is already commercially deployed in human skilled nursing facilities for continuous patient monitoring, providing strong validation of both the technology and its reliability.
Active trials are currently underway at Helios, with data being collected to refine equine-specific analytics and use cases.
Qualified investors are invited to participate in the next phase of commercialization, including:
This opportunity engages advanced, field-tested technology at the intersection of animal health, performance analytics, and remote diagnostics—with clear pathways for expansion beyond equine into broader veterinary applications.
Helios will host a short on-site presentation during the open house in the main barn at 1:00 PM, presented by Sajol Ghoshal, CEO of Advanced Telesensors.
Attendees will be introduced to the first contactless sensor system developed specifically for continuous equine monitoring: heart rate, respiration rate, and heart rate variability (HRV).
Helios sponsored the development and equine adaptation of this technology, leveraging its real-world rehabilitation environment to validate performance, accuracy, and usability.
